Carloforte Tonnare \u00e8 situato nella pittoresca isola di San Pietro, in Sardegna, dove da centinaia di anni si intrecciano storie di vita, pesca, passione, natura e piatti deliziosi. The many coves and natural pools among red porphyry rocks are the shades of a colorful and wonderful landscape that make Carloforte one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.<\/span><\/p>\n The proximity of the fixed tuna fishery to the processing and packaging plant ensures constant and careful control as well as fishing and processing that have boasted a tradition and respect for the sea since 1654.<\/p>\n Their dedication to the preservation of ancient fishing techniques and rigorous selection of the catch guarantees a product that represents the best of Italian tradition.<\/p>\n The Carloforte Tuna is Thunnus Thynnus, or Bluefin Tuna, which in this case is called \u201cRunning Tuna\u201d because it is caught during its migration between April and June, the time of year when it transits our Mediterranean Sea.<\/p>\n With the evolution of the market comes the desire to introduce this valuable product also freshly caught, thus fostering the partnership with Sea Master.
